EP04: Sound Manipulation

This session will be a live in the studio session where I take participants through my process of manipulating material and structuring a piece of sound art. I will introduce some basic studio techniques using Reaper DAW software such as cutting up audio, mixing sound and effects. Through the session participant will be encouraged to help build a short piece of sound art using a limited number of recordings from previous sessions. We will also examine how other sound artists use these techniques. The workshop will end with a Q and A and listening to the piece we have created.
